These were the initial forms that I stemmed my investigations from. I was interested in the effect that the stacked forms elicited.

Monolith from 2001 A Space Odyssey. The relation of this entity to the creatures in the movie was something very intriguing to me. I used this form as inspiration in conceptualizing my first monoliths.

I get to walk by this fountain every day on the way to class! It's really pretty, and really relaxing. The design of it has inspired some upcoming fountain-type pieces I am working on. It's on the south side of the Business Building at Kansas State University.

I just love these cups. The glaze work on them is very fun and beautiful, and that clay body is gorgeous.
